The plastic horns, popular with football fans at the football World Cup in South Africa that are driving most of us CRAZY, have been selling fast across Britain in the last week.
But the All England Club has insisted they would be banned. A Wimbledon spokesman said of the vuvuzelas:
"The message is not to bring them. We have a list of prohibited items, including rattles and klaxons and vuvuzelas will fall into that category so the message is not to bring them."
"From a noise point of view they could be very distracting to the players and spectators. We think the fans will understand. We understand that people would like to follow the World Cup but there are plenty of ways to do that without watching it here on the big screens."
I'm still trying to find the way to watch World Cup without that annoying noise. Too bad I can't watch BBC in Bosnia, they found the way to silence vavuzelas.
Thanks to Wimbledon officials for this decision!!!!
