Do you remeber those funny photos of Gael Monfils and Fernando Verdasco visiting ‘Hofbräuhaus’ during BMW Open last year? This year, Bob & Mike Bryan, dressed up in lederhosen and a full traditional Bavarian costume, took time out from the BMW Open to visit Munich’s world famous restaurant and one of Munich’s most visited attractions and brewery ‘Hofbräuhaus’, founded in 1589.

“It was pretty amazing to see all the traditions of Bavaria and to be in a place that’s been there for 400 years. There were so many people were having a good time. It was just great to be a part of it and soak in some atmosphere.” - said Bob Bryan.

“Mike and I had a good time dressing up in the costumes. We got a lot of weird looks but all in all it was a very fun hour for us. It was once in a lifetime opportunity!”

“German beer tastes good, it’s pretty strong and comes in big servings. You can’t have one of those before practice, that’s for sure!”
