Jo-Wilfried Tsonga defeated Novak Djokovic 7-6 (4), 6-4 to win the Thailand Open, clinching his first career title and avenging his loss to the top-seeded Novak in the Australian Open final.

"I didn't believe that I would win," he said. "But I played unbelievable, it was like a dream. But that's how you are obliged to play against an opponent like Novak."

"I didn't even think about the revenge," Tsonga said. "It's very special to win my first tournament. I wanted this since I was young. It's a dream come true."

This was Novak's 14th defeat of the season against 58 wins and left him 10-6 in career finals.

"I couldn't do it today, I lost to a great player," said Djokovic, who earned his last trophy in May at Rome.

"But all credit to Jo for winning his first title. I'm sure we will be seeing a lot more of him. He did a great job today."

    Wow,
Those are some serious words of hatred. I do not think this person
really understands tennis or sports in general. A small advice would be to convert negative feeling into positive by commenting about her favorite player.

All support to tennis and its athletes!
    Peace.

A lot of people are finding Djokovic a humbug, including the biggest tennis athletes like Nadal, Federer, and Roddick. He jokes and mimics people but when a joke is played on him, he cant take it. He has a lot to learn from the attitude and character of Nadal and Federer, who is gracious and humble in victory, and who are well liked by everyone, except by those people who are envious of them. I find the actions of Djokovic in court irritating, and if he wants to be respected by the fans, he should first learn how to respect other people. If he learns from all these reactions of the fans, then, that would be good for him, because by then, he would be up for a change in his character. A change for the better is always welcome!
