Jelena Dokic played really great in the match vs Elena Dementieva, she won the first set 6-2 and it was 2-2 in the second set when Dokic bent over in agony and, despite playing on for a few more games, she had to retire.
She was devastated to quit the tournament.
"I felt like I had the match in my hands and I was doing well and, even if I didn't win, I was playing really well," she said. "I felt like I probably played the best tennis that I've played this year.
Really sad. I hope it's nothing serious.
