Novak Djokovic has hired new fitness coach Gebhard Phil-Gritsch, who was trainer of Thomas Muster, former world no.1, and holder of 44 ATP titles.
Nole started working with him after losing to Rafael Nadal in last week's Monte Carlo Masters final.
"Fitness is what I need in the following period. I will play three tournaments in a row before Roland Garros, and we all know that transition from clay to grass is very short" - said Novak.
"I’m always trying to improve myself in every aspect, to become a better player. I felt that I can’t improve anymore with members of my team, and decided to change something" - added world no.3.
Nole said that the new coach had brought new programme, new system and many innovations.
"Of course, we haven’t changed everything, that would be risky" - concluded Nole.
