Rafael Nadal attended the Champions League Round of 16, First Leg match between Real Madrid and Liverpool at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on February 25, 2009 in Madrid, Spain.

On his way out of the ‘Santiago Bernabéu’ Stadium right after the match, Rafa Nadal gave a short interview to the ‘Canal Plus’ channel.

Unfortunately, “the result wasn’t what the team wanted, however, they have to keep being positive”, said Rafa after watching Real Madrid lose 0-1.

“In their next match they have to go out there and believe in victory. They have to go to Liverpool with their hearts full”.

“I’m simply one more fan, but I have to say that I saw them playing often from the back, it was real hard for them to come forward. It’s a pity that with the one chance (Liverpool) had, they scored”, completed the champion.
