Jelena Jankovic has received a wildcard entry for next week's Paris Open after injured Maria Sharapova pulled out, organizers said Thursday.
World number three Jelena Jankovic, joins Aussie Open winner and world No. 1 Serena Williams and Russian Olympic champion Elena Dementieva in the tournament starting on Monday.
Sharapova pulled out on Wednesday as she failed to fully recover from a shoulder injury that has kept her out of action for six months. She slipped out of the top 10 on Monday for the first time since winning Wimbledon in July 2004 and is currently ranked 17th.

I just hope Jelena gets far enough to actually play Dementieva or Serena. She seems to be looking a lot fitter and healthier from those fed cup pics so I'm praying for her form to come back lol
