Marc Lopez and Rafa Nadal won Qatar ExxonMobil Open doubles title

The Spanish wild card duo of Marc Lopez and Rafael Nadal defeat top seeds and 2008 ATP World Tour Champions Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic 4-6, 6-4, 10-8, in Friday's doubles championship at the Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha.

Lopez, who was appearing in his second career ATP World Tour doubles final, was playing with Nadal for the first time.

Lopez said, "I would like to thank Rafa for giving me the opportunity to play with him and win my first ATP title."

Nadal added, "It was disappointing to lose in the singles yesterday so I feel a bit better having won the doubles. Daniel and Nenad are the best team in the world and they were tough to beat today."
