Reebok India, world’s leading sports brand launched its Fall Winter'08 collection at F-Bar, Ashoka Hotel in New Delhi and few days later a new Reebok store was launched at Linking Road, one of the most premium locations of Mumbai.

Nicole is visiting both Delhi and Mumbai and is doing kids clinics, tons of media appearances, hosting a fashion show, as well as conducing several interviews.

Nicole inaugurated the store in Mumbai and gave sports lovers from Mumbai a reason to cheer as she interacted with tennis enthusiasts at the store.

In New Delhi, Reebok's global brand ambassador Nicole Vaidisova and India's leading tennis player Sunitha Rao played a few friendly knocks followed by a few knocks with kids.

"Tennis has great potential in India and I am excited about Reebok's focus on promoting tennis in India. Meeting with the young tennis players in the community is always a great experience. I'm proud to be associated with a brand like Reebok that supports players from an early stage in their career and helps them to fulfill their potential. Such scholarships will ensure that players have access to the best technology that will help them to optimize their performance and prove that true potential will always find its takers". said Nicole.

A wrist injury forced her to miss almost half the season and she slipped from world number 12 and to 41. However, Nicole says far from dwelling on the tough period, she looking ahead and rearing to get back on the court and prove her mettle.

"It's (wrist) better and there is no pain. I have not started hitting the ball much but it seems a lot better. I did lot of exercises and rehab programme with my coach. It was a tough period but hopefully I will do better now," she told PTI in an interaction after awarding scholarships to young kids in a Reebok-organised tennis clinic here.

"I will go back to Florida and have one-and-a-half month to prepare for the season ahead," the 19-year-old said, spelling out her plans. Vaidisova is not worried about the steep fall in her rankings and said, "That's going to happen. It's part and parcel of the game. when you are not playing, you can't do much."
