Jelena Jankovic arrived this morning from Washinghton to Beijing where she was welcomed by Snezana Lakicevic Stojacic, a member of the Serbian Olympic committee, many reporters and fans.
"I'm asleep. The trip was nice, but I waited two hours for my baggage. I was in the same plane with the US baseball team. It was an interesting trip. They asked me for the autographs and photos all the time. They were really great." - said Jelena to press in Beijing.
She said that she's very happy for being at Olympics.
"This is special place, special event. I'll try do give my best. I had an injury, but I'm slowly getting back in shape. I'll have few more days to prepare." - said Jelena and add that her dream is to win one of the medals.
"It's my pleasure that I'll meet sportsmen from other countries. I think it's gonna be great at Olympics. I want to socialize with other sportsmen as much as possible, and when time comes to play, I'll concentrate on the game." - add JJ.
Jelena said that becoming No.1 on 11th August and the fact that during the Olympics she'll be the best tennis player on the world, motivated her even more to play better.
Only half an hour before Jelena's arrival, Williams sister and Lindsay Davenport arrived at the Beijing airport.
