(more photos after "Read More Here!")

Novak Djokovic won bronze medal, Serbia's first ever Olympic tennis medal on Saturday by defeating James Blake 6-3, 7-6 (7/4)! Congrats Nole!

Rest of our tennis team, Ana, Janko, Jelena, Nenad....They maybe lost, but for me they are winners, they are my heroes, they are Serbia's heroes...despite injuries they tried and give they best...

Maybe we'll have more luck on the next Olympics!

  1. Anonymous Said,

It's great to see Nole win!

Even though I'm sad the rest of my fellow serbian comrades lost in the Olympics, ONE SERB pulled through an insane win against a Top-10 player last night. Legend ANDY RODDICK LOST TO VIKTOR TROICKI 0-6, 6-2, 6-4 and I was there to witness the great moment. I talked to Viktor about being denied by serbia to play the olympics and it's a shame, but he avenged that by now making it into the semifinals in DC. When Viktor was losing in the first set, everyone in the stadium was cheering for him to win at least ONE game, but then slowly he started losing cheerers as they saw Roddick make unforced error after unforced error that eventually gave Viktor his win. In the 3rd set it was basically the entire stadium of 5000 people against maybe 20 Troicki supporters, but he pulled through in the end when Roddick sent a ball flying into the net giving Viktor his victory. Great match! Ajmo Viktore!

Hey Romana, thank you very much for this comment. I read about Viktor's win, it's really gret!
Wow, you were there, lucky you! It would be nice if you could write some nice text about Viktor, coverage of the match and his victory, I can post it with your name as writer!

  3. Anonymous Said,

Sure, I'd love to. He'll be playing tonight again at 7pm. I've got some photos of him and even match point on video against Roddick. Is there an email address I can send this to (maybe a little easier than on here)? Thanks!

  5. Unknown Said,

    Thank You Nole!!!
I have never seen any athlete this unselfish. He wanted to win for his country and he did it. That intensity of emotion was not seen in Nadal nor Blake or Federrer. I was worried how he was going to pull through the Blake match but he did it gloriously and showed at the end his Serbian pride.
    Hvala puno Nole.
    Pozdrav,
    Biljana iz Kanade.

  6. Lana Said,

I agree with you Biljana. Novak is a great patriot and he always says that he loves to play for his country and he just proved it one more time. I was worried too how will he play against Blake, but I guess he used all that anger after lost from Rafa to beat Blake.
He really made me proud for being Serb!

Puno pozdrava i tebi iz Republike Srpske!

    Lana

  7. Anonymous Said,
