Mardy Fish showed he's just as comfortable on a baseball field as he is on a tennis court by throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at Fenway Park on Tuesday night, just before the World Series champion Boston Red Sox took on the Minnesota Twins.
A die-hard Twins fan, Fish threw the ball perfectly to the catcher. The Minnesota-native said: "It was by far the coolest thing I’ve ever done. It’s always great to get to hang out a bit with guys like that, and to be up close while they take batting practice. It’s totally different to see a place like Fenway Park from on the field instead of from the stands. It’s a pretty amazing place."
