World number three Novak Djokovic fought back from a set down, to beat his countryman and a very good friend Janko Tipsarevic in their first ever match, 2:6, 6:1, 6:4 in 1 hour and 43 minutes.
The Serbian star looked out of sorts in the first and lost it 6-2. He however hit back in typical fighting Djokovic fashion and took the next two sets 6-1 6-4 to book himself a place in the quarterfinals of The Artois Championships.
His quarterfinal opponent is Australian Lleyton Hewitt (11th seed). This will be their fourth match; Djokovic leads 2:1.
