Vera Zvonareva has sealed Russia's place in a second successive Fed Cup by BNP Paribas Final, defeating Vania King in three sets in the first match on Sunday. Zvonareva was a last-minute replacement for Svetlana Kuznetsova and won 46 63 62 in one hour 52 minutes.
Russia will travel to Spain for the final, following Spain's win over China earlier today.
